Meet the Team
Hannah Hartswick, MS, LPC (she/her)
Hannah opened Hartswick Counseling in October of 2022 after working as an outpatient therapist and clinical supervisor at another practice for seven years. Hartswick Counseling is committed to all clients receiving the most empathic and competent care possible.
After completing her undergraduate degree at Penn State University, Hannah obtained a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lock Haven University. She has over a decade of experience working with clients who struggle with various mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, OCD, and trauma. Hannah is trained in EMDR, Internal Family Systems, and other trauma informed therapies to assist in your healing. Hannah also has extensive experience in reunification counseling, relational conflict, and navigating recovery from unhealthy or abusive relationships.
Hannah utilizes strong rapport building, exploration of your goals, and understanding your personality to guide the treatment process and cater the therapeutic experience to your individual needs..
Courtney Laird, MSW, LSW (she/her)
Courtney is a Licensed Social Worker, having graduated from the University of Edinboro. She provides compassionate, trauma-informed care to individuals and families across the lifespan. With over 7 years of experience in behavioral and family services, Courtney brings a thoughtful and grounded approach to her work with clients.
Courtney believes in meeting individuals where they are and creates a safe, supportive environment for clients to share their stories, explore their experiences, and work toward changes they want to see in their lives.
Courtney works with clients experiencing various concerns including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and emotional overwhelm. She tailors therapy to each client’s unique needs, drawing from evidence-based practices while honoring personal strengths, values, and lived experiences.
Elianna Aguirre, MS, LAPC, CADC (she/her) (Telehealth Clinician)
Elianna obtained a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Commonwealth University–Lock Haven in December 2025 and holds a LAPC, CADC, and Telehealth Counseling Certificate. She has been working in the helping field since 2020, with experience providing counseling in both outpatient and inpatient settings, as well as offering case management support.
Elianna works with adults and adolescents navigating substance use and behavioral addictions, trauma, and major life transitions. She is especially passionate about supporting first-generation children of immigrant parents as they explore identity, cultural expectations, and the pressures that often come with balancing multiple worlds. Her work is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and respect for each person’s lived experience.
Fluent in Spanish, Elianna is committed to providing culturally responsive and accessible care. She takes an integrative, client-centered approach, drawing from solution-focused, psychodynamic, and narrative modalities to support clients in identifying strengths, gaining insight, and moving toward meaningful and sustainable change.
Brandon Kephart, MS, LAPC (she/he/they) (Telehealth Clinician)
Brandon is a graduate of the Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania – Lock Haven (CU-LHU) and holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Brandon is also a doctoral candidate at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP), studying Counselor Education and Supervision.
Over the past several years, Brandon has worked in a variety of community mental health programs, ranging from intensive behavioral health services (IBHS) to family-based mental health (FBMH). Within these roles, Brandon has worked extensively with individuals, couples, and families of all ages, providing counseling services across a variety of settings to help clients achieve their fullest potential.
In their approach, Brandon uses a person-centered and mindfulness-based framework. This means prioritizing the client-counselor relationship and helping clients navigate personal, social, and career-related challenges as they come up in session. This also involves considering the role that cultural identity plays in everyday stress, including navigating relationships and larger social systems. With an approach grounded in empathy and compassion, Brandon recognizes that all of us are in a process of becoming our best selves. While this process can be daunting, it can also be empowering and a place for meaningful change!
